Data deletion instructions

Overview
This page explains how to revoke EverAds' access to your Meta account and how to request deletion of personal data EverAds holds about you.

1. Revoking EverAds' access to Meta
You can disconnect EverAds at any time. There are two ways:
- In EverAds (recommended). Go to Settings → Meta and click Disconnect Meta. EverAds revokes its access with Meta and invalidates the stored authorisation immediately. Disconnecting Meta removes our access but keeps your historical campaign records in EverAds; those records remain in your account until you delete them or request data deletion below.
- In Facebook. Go to Settings → Apps and Websites, find EverAds in the “Active” list, and click Remove. This revokes EverAds' access on Meta's side. We detect the revocation the next time we try to use your authorisation and mark your connection inactive in EverAds.
Either path produces the same outcome on Meta's side.
2. Requesting deletion of data EverAds holds
Email team@ever-ads.com from the email address associated with your EverAds account. Use one of the subject lines below so we route the request correctly:
- “Data Deletion Request - Meta data only” - deletes the Meta connection, the encrypted token record, selected ad account / Page / Pixel records, and the historical campaign and insights records derived from your Meta account. Your EverAds account, offers, creatives and billing records remain.
- “Data Deletion Request - Entire account” - deletes your EverAds account in full, including offers, creatives, Meta data, billing records (where not required by law to retain), and the authentication record. This is irreversible.
3. What to expect
We acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the requested deletion within 30 days. We will reply by email confirming what has been deleted and what (if anything) is retained for a legal obligation - such as VAT-relevant billing records, which UK accounting rules require us to keep for at least six years.
